Sonics beat Cavs to beat Warriors in OT

Contact

The Sonics are in their fourth straight game without Andrew Wiggins and he is out for the rest of the season with a sprained right ankle.

The Warriors will be without Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.

Here is a look at how the Warriors ended their road trip.

The Sonicks were able to put the game away late with a 21-10 lead and a 14-6 halftime lead, but the Cavs came back and closed it out to win 93-91 on Sunday.

The NBA’s playoff race is on.

The Thunder won four of five, including a 111-100 victory over Golden State on Wednesday.

Oklahoma City (10-3) is in a tie for the NBA’s best record at 10-1.

The Blazers (8-8) are also the league’s best team and are riding a six-game winning streak.

Oklahoma has won six of its last seven games against Portland.

The Wolves (6-10) have won four in a row against the Sonics.

Portland (8, 7-8), meanwhile, has lost five of six.

The Kings (7, 10-5) lost to Cleveland on Wednesday night in overtime and now face a fourth straight trip to the Finals.

The Jazz (9, 8-8, 3-7) have lost seven of nine but have won two of their last three.

Sacramento is one of just five teams with a winning record over Golden States.

The Hornets (7-10, 2-14) are on a three-game losing streak.

The Pelicans (8 (2), 3-6), meanwhile (4-7), are also on a losing streak but have a winning streak over Portland.

Portland’s Josh McRoberts, who is averaging 18.3 points, shot 6 of 12 for nine points, while rookie C.J. McCollum had 17 points.

Sacramento guard Montrezl Harrell, who had a season-high 22 points, scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Blazers.

He also had a career-high seven assists.

The Sonics had a chance to win the series after taking control in the first half.

They had a 48-34 lead after a 3-pointer by Andrew Wiggins with 2:56 left.

They were up 34-34 on McRoberts’ dunk with 2.9 seconds left.

The Cavs, who led 56-45 at halftime, pulled away in the third quarter with a 9-2 run to cut the lead to 76-72.

Kyrie Irving scored 14 points for the Sonicans.

He hit two 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to cut it to 76.

But he was called for a foul on his first attempt, and the Sonic’s next attempt was blocked by Portland’s Jared Dudley.

The teams traded baskets in the final seconds of the fourth.

Battles between these two teams were supposed to be among the best of the NBA season.

Both teams are 5-0 against each other in the last 10 years, including the NBA Finals.

Both sides had a tough stretch against each others teams in the playoffs last season, but this season, both teams were coming off three straight wins.

The Heat won Game 1, while the Sonits beat Golden State in six games.

The Trail Blazers won Game 3, but were swept by the Thunder in five games.

On Sunday, the Sonick’s win over the Warriors was the Son’s second in a two-game series against the Warriors.

Golden State is 1-1 against Sonics in the series.

The two teams have played five times in Sacramento, with each meeting ending in a blowout.
