The Crossfit gym is known for their annual Crossfit Challenge, which attracts thousands of participants across the world every summer.
But in the past few months, the gym has been working on its own version of the game, which will include fitness competitions, a “cross-training challenge,” and even a “run and walk challenge.”
The game will be released as a mobile app for Android and iOS devices in the first half of 2018.
The goal of the app is to let athletes stay in shape and be able to take part in various cross-training challenges, like “crossfitter” and “running and walking challenge,” according to the Crossfit Group.
The first beta of the CrossFit Game of the Day app will also include a variety of other features, including a “training log” for training plans, a calendar, and a “recruitment tool.”
According to the website for the app, the app will be “designed to help athletes find the right program that fits their schedule, time of year, and fitness level.”
The app will cost $0.99 and will be available for free on iOS and Android devices.
“Our team of CrossFit gyms and coaches have been working hard to deliver an innovative new mobile app that will help athletes stay fit, keep their workouts organized, and help them find the best Crossfit program,” says a Crossfit spokesperson.
“We’re excited to bring this new version of our app to our athletes, coaches, and communities in 2018.”
